WORLD CLASS MINIATURE HORSE REGISTRY, INC. was founded in 1995, to offer a full-service Registry and to simplify  owning, showing, breeding, and registering miniature horses.

  The First Miniature Horse Registry to combine forms on the applications and certificates, offer online forms,

online registrations and membership, and show registrations.  WCMHR was the first to offer  "coupons" for membership and registrations in 2009.  The interest and needs of the miniature horse owner has always been foremost with World Class Miniature Horse Registry, Inc.
 

• Membership Application on the back of Horse Registration Application.
• Transfer Section is on the back of the original Horse Registration Certificate.  The new owner simply sends in the original certificate with the completed transfer section along with the appropriate fees (currently $15 and the appropriate membership fee  if in the US and  if the new owner is not already a member) and a new certificate is issued in the name of the new owner.  The previous owner is also listed on the front of the certificate.  
• Pictures of the horse are placed on the back of the certificate and any markings are also designated on the outlines on the front of the certificate.  Pictures are not required but many owners prefer to have their horse's picture placed on the certificate to further authenticity of the registered miniature horse or show pony.
• The Registry has designed a Mare Record for the use of the Miniature Horse Breeder to determine and better predict the conformation, size, height, and color of the miniature horse foals born at their farms.
• There are also Stallion Records for the Breeder to recognize the characteristics and traits being passed by their breeding Stallions.
• Stallion Reports are furnished by the Registry but are not required at this time.

• A division: 34" and under  Permanent at age 3

• B divison: Over 34" up to and incl. 38"

• Show Pony--C Divison--over 38" up to and including, 48"

Turnaround Time is generally 3-4 weeks or sooner.   Photos are not required for registration unless a hardship application is submitted.  Many members prefer to send photos for all registrations and a photo of the horse is placed on the back of the Certificate.

Certificates are on beautiful parchment paper with a gold metallic border.
All Registry work is performed on computers.  However, in order to assure that no data is ever lost, each member has a file that contains all Registry work submitted by the particular member.

Regular Members ($32 per year in the USA only) receive a 12-month subscription to the Equine Journal that contains the Registry's Monthly Newsletter. Membership runs for a full year from the effective date.  The magazine will run for a full year from the date that the first subscription is received.  Subscription lists will be submitted the end of January and the end of June.  The expiration date is listed on the member's laminated membership card.  The expiration date may be extended to accommodate the waiting period for the first subscription to begin. Members in Canada and Foreign Countries may become members without a subscription for only $25. 

Membership in the United States is only $25 if member already has a subscription to the Equine Journal with another affiliation.

Youth membership Fees are only $10 and remain in effect until the youth has reached their 18th. birthday.  Youths may register a miniature horse in their name.  However, if the horse is sold while the youth is under 18,  a parent or legal guardian must sign the back of the certificate in the Transfer Section.

Mastercard, Visa, and Discover credit cards are accepted by the Registry.

Membership must be kept current in order to maintain the free subscription, registrations, transfer, or participating in the annual WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MINIATURE HORSE SHOW.  

The monthly newsletter is located under the Affiliation Section of the Equine Journal  along with the WORLD CLASS MINIATURE HORSE REGISTRY, INC. LOGO.

Home pages are available at the WCMHR site for only $50 per year.  Includes 1-full typewritten page of text, one logo, and one picture 3"x5." A change in pictures of construction of site once approved by the Registry will require an additional fee of $25.  

Those who are new to the miniature horses now have an excellent opportunity to introduce themselves and their miniature horses to the industry.

The well-established miniature horse breeders and trainers may wish to engage an additional source of advertising at a very reasonable rate.

WCMHR ads appear monthly in numerous miniature horse and exotic animal magazines.  The Registry has been featured in many articles.
