Rules
and Regulations :
Barbara and David Diamond and/or Clover Ridge Farm, Inc will not
be liable whatsoever for any injury or damage to any person or property of any spectator,
visitor, exhibitor, attendant, animal or any other persons by reason of event at the show;
it shall be a condition of entry that each person holds the above mentioned harmless for
any accidents which occur by reason of fire or otherwise.
Classes are pinned 1st thru 6th place with
a prize awarded for each first place class winner.
Limited number of stalls are available at a cost of $20 per day. Please call Barbara at 518-583-1810 to reserve one.
A $20 returned check fee will be charged for all return checks.
Dogs are welcome if ON LEASH and not disruptive.
Absolutely NO SMOKING in the barn.
Please put cigarette butts out in your car ash trays or butt buckets
not on the grounds.
If you do not hold a measurement card, or you are unsure about
the height of your of your horse/pony, measurements will be by the secretaries stand prior
to the start of the show.
For Pintos requiring papers On-Site registration is
not available so please make arrangements ahead of time with Sector Director Kathy

This facility has two rings.
Please listen for where classes are to be held in the large ring.
There is a small indoor which maybe used in case of in climate
weather.
Wherever possible, classes will be split by height of horse
and/or age of exhibitors if entries warrant- ie
Miniatures may be split into A/B and if needed further down to Stallions/Geldings and
Mares. Ponies may be split 12h (48) and
under, and over 12h to 142 and if needed further down to Stallions/Geldings
and Mares. (Pre-entries are encouraged as this will help us determine the needs for
splits.)

Directions:
From East or West: Take NYS Thruway (I-90) to Albany Exit
24 to 87 North. (Now follow Directions From South)
>From South: Take 87 North to Exit 12. Make a left onto Rt 67. Go 2.3 miles and take a
left onto Brookline Rd (just after Curtis Lumber). Go
1.5 miles and make a Right onto Middleline Rd to the end. At the intersection make a left
onto Rt 29 West for 2/10th of a mile. Bear
Right onto CR-104 (Murray Rd). At stop sign
(across from Stewarts) make a left onto Rt 21 (Middlegrove Rd). Barn is 8/10th of a mile on the right.
>From the North: Take 87 South to Exit 15 and take Rt
50 S toward downtown Saratoga springs. At
large 4 way (w/ traffic light) bear Right on Van Dam St which turns into Rt 9N (follow
signs for Saratoga Hospital). 2 miles past
hospital make a Left onto Middlegrove Rd (Rt 21), barn is 6 miles down on the right (810th
of a mile past Stewarts).
Classes:
Showmanship patterns posted the day of show.
Judged on exhibitor, animal is merely a prop.
Obstacle Driving course to be posted the day
of show.
Driving Gymkhana Timed events with no
penalty for walking any or all of the course, 5 second penalty for cantering or
galloping more than 3 steps for each occurrence between any two points.
Cloverleaf
Barrel may start

Pole
bending Six poles, starting to the right of the first pole, weave through to
pole 6. Do a 180 turn and continue weaving back tru to the start line.
Keyhole
Race A keyhole shape will be drawn
on the ground, with a 5 ft wide throat. Enter the throat and turn completely around in the
circle (either direction) and re-cross the timing line. DQ if cart or animal steps on or
out of the keyhole.
Flag
Race See barrel pattern above may start from left or right. Pick up flag from either barrel 1 or 2, drive
around barrel 3 and place flag into bucket 2 or 1. DQ
for failing to pick up flag on first pass, failure to place flag in bucket on first pass,
dropping, sitting on, or putting the flag inside the cart (must remain in a hand), and/or
knocking bucket over.
Stake Race - Perform
a figure 8 pattern around 2 stakes in the fastest time.
